Fillet welding machines from Klumpp Welding are designed for straight welds with a fixed start and end point. Used for blunt or rectangular joined sheet metal connections, they enable stable, reproducible welds — ideal for large sheet formats and geometrically simple components. If necessary, camera tracking of the weld seam can be used to automatically compensate for deviations in the component position.

Wann wird eine Kehl-/Stumpfnaht­schweiß­maschine eingesetzt?

Die Kehl-/Stumpfnaht­schweiß­maschine dient dazu, zwei gerade Bleche in einer 90°-Fügung miteinander zu verschweißen. So lassen sich aus einzelnen Blechtafeln sehr große Strukturen herstellen, beispielsweise im Schiffsbau, wenn Standardtafeln in Abmessung oder Form nicht ausreichen und Bauteile daher aus mehreren Segmenten zusammengesetzt werden müssen.

Ihre Vorteile mit der Kehl-/Stumpfnaht­schweiß­maschine

Die Anlage kann mit Zuführtechnik ausgestattet werden, um Bleche gezielt an den Schweißbereich heranzuführen. Optional ist außerdem eine 180°-Drehfunktion möglich, um von beiden Seiten zu schweißen. 

Zusätzlich ist eine Formiergasumströmung der Nahtwurzel möglich, um die Rückseite der Naht gezielt zu schützen und das Schweißergebnis zu unterstützen.

Die richtige Spanntechnik für Ihre Anwendung

Bei großen Blechen ist eine hydraulische Spannung üblich. Hintergrund ist, dass die Bauteile durch vorgelagerte Prozesse wie das Brennschneiden häufig Verzug aufweisen. Mit hydraulischer beziehungsweise hochdruckhydraulischer Spannung steht mehr Kraft zur Verfügung, um die Bleche zuverlässig zu fixieren und zusammenzuführen.

Präzise und kraftschlüssige Fixierung der Bauteile

Die Spannbratzen werden unter einem Winkel beziehungsweise mit leichtem Winkel zum Werkstück verfahren, um die Blechkanten gezielt zusammenzuführen.

What width of the workpiece can be processed?

The metal sheets to be processed can be up to 18 meters wide.

Material thicknesses of 1 to 100 mm can be processed. In addition, versions up to 300 mm can also be produced.

Is automation possible and what level of automation does the machine offer?

The degree of automation ranges from a welding process along a linear axis to the positioning of components, for example by removing them from a material store using robots or linear axes. The subsequent welding of the parts together can also be automated.

How long can the workpieces be?

The largest machines built so far had a welding length of 18 and 20 meters, respectively. Larger versions are possible. The entire length of the workpiece can be significantly longer than the pure welding length.
