For linear seam connections on blunt or rectangular welded sheets

Welding along clearly defined lines

Fillet welding machines from Klumpp Welding are designed for straight welds with a fixed start and end point. Used for blunt or rectangular joined sheet metal connections, they enable stable, reproducible welds — ideal for large sheet formats and geometrically simple components. If necessary, camera tracking of the weld seam can be used to automatically compensate for deviations in the component position.

What workpiece width can be processed?

The sheet metal panels to be processed can be up to 18 meters wide.

What materials and material thicknesses can be processed?

Material thicknesses from 1 to 100 mm can be processed. Additionally, solutions for up to 300 mm are also feasible.

Is automation possible, and what level of automation does the machine offer?

The level of automation ranges from a welding process along a linear axis to the positioning of components, for instance, by retrieving them from a material storage unit using robots or linear axes. The subsequent welding of these parts can also be automated.

How long can the workpieces be?

The largest machines built to date had a welding length of 18 or 20 meters, respectively. Larger versions are possible. The total workpiece length can be significantly greater than the actual welding length.

Which welding processes are available?

All welding processes are available.

Is the weld possible on the inside or outside?

Welding is usually done on the outside.

Our corner seam welding machines are designed for joining sheet metal along outer edges – precise, automated, and process-stable.

Does your production need an integrated welding solution?

We support you in developing a tailor-made machine solution — regardless of the welding process, focused on your processes.
